Large pair Staffordshire black and white spaniels

Victorian, circa 1890. Tallest is 14ins high, 10.2ins wide, 4.9ins depth.

Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.



Black and white version.





Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition

Right facing: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: uneven glaze application to some of the markings.



Left facing: Good. No restoration. Two small flakes to right front paw.



KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the underside;



uneven glaze application to some of the markings.
