Mini Staffordshire dogs playing on cushion inkwell

Staffordshire inkwell which features two dogs, playing on a tasselled cushion base.

Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.

Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

A few small paint losses to the dog's markings.

Some rubbing to gilt.

Some wear to underside.

KILN EFFECTS: small firing pit to one spaniel's back;

flecks of stray coloured glaze.
