Victorian, circa 1860. 2.8ins high, 4.5ins wide, 2ins depth. Staffordshire porcellaneous figure which features a dog, recumbent on a rectangular base.
Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent holes to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. A few paint losses to dog's markings.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: a few small shrinkage cracks to the underside.
RESTORATION. Dog's muzzle reglued and join retouched.
Remodelled left hind leg and tip of tail.
Filled chips to underside of base.
Retouched flakes top of base at front and reverse.
