Pair Staffordshire russet & white spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 9.8ins high, 6.9ins wide, 4.1ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel,
seated directly on the ground, no base.



Russet and white version. Dull gilt embellishment.





Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.







Vent hole to the underside.

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration.

Small chip to lower base edge.



A few paint losses to the paws, markings









and nose.



Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: over glazed chip to dog's front right paw;



a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front,
