Victorian, circa 1870. 5.3ins high, 9.1ins wide, 4.3ins depth.

Staffordshire tureen with cover which features a rabbit, seated on a shaped base.



Dull gilt base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Cover: Good. KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the ears.





RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to inner rim and paint losses to markings and right eye.













Dish: Good. A few paint losses to ground.







Slight rubbing to gilt.



RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched two hairlines to rim. Filled chips and retouched flakes to rim.
