Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a zebra, prancing on an oval base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the reverse.
Condition
Right facing: Generally good. Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the zebra's chest.
RESTORATION. Remodelled front left leg.
Retouched paint loss to ground.
Left facing: Generally good. Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the zebra's body.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to base edge.
Retouched paint losses to ground.
