Small Staffordshire cottage pastille burner
Victorian, circa 1860. 4.1ins high, 4.3ins wide, 2ins depth. Staffordshire pastille burner which features a cottage with flowers, stood on a shaped base. Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Opening to the reverse.

Condition
Generally good. No restoration.
Small chip to each chimney top
and a few to the flowers.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the roof
and mold joins to sides;
kiln grit caught in the glaze above one window;
kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse.
