Pair Staffordshire no.3 russet & white spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 8.7ins high, 5.5ins wide, 3.7ins depth.

Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.



Russet and white version. Dull gilt embellishment.





Decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.



Maker's marks no.3 molded into the underside.






Condition

Right facing: Good. A few paint losses to ears and markings.









KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.



RESTORATION: retouched paint losses to eyes and paws.
