Staffordshire Garibaldi on horse titled figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 10.2ins high, 7.9ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire figure with a military theme which features Garibaldi and his horse, stood on a shaped base.



The piece is titled, 'GARIBALDI' .



Multi-coloured with underglaze blue version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.







Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Small flake to his nose,



horse's tail



and front of base.





Some rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the reverse.



RESTORATION. Garibaldi's waist and neck reglued and joins retouched.









Filled chips to front of base,



plumage to hat



and horse's tail.
