Staffordshire Pearlware boy, dog & nest bocage figure
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 5.9ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware bocage figure with a pastoral theme which features a boy
holding a bird's nest full of eggs, his dog sitting beside him, seated on a square hollow base.
Painted base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good.
A few tiny flakes to the lower and upper base edges.
RESTORATION: filled chips to the bocage (80% is still original) and lower base edge;
retouched paint losses to hat,
jacket,
shoes
and ground;
stabilised and retouched hairline to side of base;
