Pair Staffordshire Jackfield spaniels
Victorian, circa 1860. 9.4ins high, 7.1ins wide, 4.9ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a spaniel, stood directly on the ground, no base.
Jackfield black version.
Dull gilt collar and locket.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the reverse.

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration.
Rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the reverse.
Left facing: Good. No restoration.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln grit caught in the glaze to the top of the spaniel's head,
chest and to the reverse.
