Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 6.7ins high, 4.3ins wide, 1.8ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a girl and boy with a black and white spaniel sat on a cushion, with a parrot perched on their shoulder, seated on an oblong base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.

CONDITION: Male: Good. No restoration. Chip to spaniel's ear.
Paint losses to parrot.
KILN EFFECTS: small firing hole to side of base;
over glazed shrinkage lines to front of base;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the spaniel.
Female: Good. No restoration. Paint losses to parrot.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to side and front of base.
