Staffordshire castle with clock tower spill vase

Victorian, circa 1860. 8.5ins high, 6.7ins wide, 2.4ins depth.

Staffordshire spill vase which features a castle with a clock tower, stood on an oblong base.



Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

Some paint losses to door, ground and grape vine.







Slight rubbing to gilt.



Slight wear to reverse.



KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line along the mold join to the right side;



shallow firing crack to one of the tower windows.
