Staffordshire No.6 black & white spaniel
Victorian, circa 1860. 5.7ins high, 3.3ins wide, 2.5ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base. Black and white version. Dull gilt collar and locket.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the reverse.
Maker's marks no.6 molded into the underside.

Generally good.
Small flake to tail.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to left front paw.
Retouched flakes to paws,
chest, neck, collar,
muzzle and around eyes.
