Pair Staffordshire leg free Disraeli spaniels
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 10.2ins high, 7.3ins wide, 4.9ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel
with Disraeli curls to head, front leg free, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Dull gilt collar and locket.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the reverse.

CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good.
Few small flakes to paws and to lower base edge.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line along the mold join to dogs chest and back.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to right hind paw.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to left front leg and paw.
Retouched paint losses to right eyebrow,
paws
and tail.
Left facing: Generally good.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line along the mold join to dog's chest;
thin glaze application to some of the markings;
craze lines to the front and reverse.
RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses to dog's paws
and tail.
