Pair Staffordshire Jack Russell terrier dogs

Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 5.9ins high, 6.1ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a Jack Russell terrier, stood directly on the ground, no base. Bright gilt embellishment.







Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.



Vent hole to the underside.

Right facing: Good. Some rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the tip of the tail.



RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses.









Left facing: Generally good. Some rubbing to gilt.



RESTORATION. Three legs reglued and joins retouched.
