Staffordshire King Charles spaniel figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 9.6ins high, 8.3ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a King Charles spaniel, stood on a leaf embellished base. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.





Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Some rubbing to gilt.







KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the base;





kiln soot caught in the glaze to the spaniel.



RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses.







Filled chips and flakes to base.
