Staffordshire gilt and white hen on nest tureen

Victorian, circa 1860. 7.5ins high, 8.7ins wide, 6.3ins depth. Staffordshire tureen with cover which features a hen sitting on her eggs,
seated on a basketweave oval base.



White and gilt version. Dull gilt embellishment.









Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
