Staffordshire bird figure
Victorian, circa 1860. 9.9ins high, 4.8ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a bird, perched on an oval base.
Multi-coloured version. Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Some paint losses to the ground and bird.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse.
RESTORATION: stabilised and retouched crack to bird's neck;
retouched paint losses to ground;
retouched flakes to tail feathers;
filled chip to beak.
