Pair Staffordshire Jackfield cats
Victorian, circa 1870. Tallest is 7.3ins high, 3.7ins wide, 2.9ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a cat, seated on a tasselled cushion base.
Jackfield black version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.

Slight rubbing to gilt.
Light scratches.
RESTORATION: Retouched flakes to right ear
and underside.
Left facing: Good.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
Light scratches.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln grit caught in the glaze inbetween the top of the front legs.
