Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 11.3ins high, 8.5ins wide, 4.8ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire spill vases with a pastoral theme which feature a cow with her calf beside a stream, stood on an oval base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.

CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good. Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: small firing pit to the stream.
RESTORATION. Remodelled left horn.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to spill rim.
Retouched flake to left ear and paint losses to the ground.
Left facing: Generally good. Chips to base edge at the reverse.
Paint flake to ground.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base edge at the reverse.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to cow's body, running from across the front of the stomach on to the reverse.
Stabilised and retouched crack to right front hoof.
