Staffordshire Jackfield hen on nest tureen

Victorian, circa 1860. 7.7ins high, 9.1ins wide, 6.3ins depth.

Staffordshire tureen with cover with a pastoral theme which features a brooding hen, seated on a basketweave oval base.



Jackfield black version.



Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Cover: Good. No restoration.

Small chip to rim.



Slight rubbing to gilt.
