Dudson Staffordshire titled swan & cygnet spill vase
Victorian, circa 1860. 4.7ins high, 5.5ins wide, 3.2ins depth. Dudson Staffordshire spill vase which features two swans and two cygnets, seated on a shaped base. The piece is titled, 'A present from Scarborough' . Lilac extruded clay version. Dull gilt title and embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
Good. No restoration.
A few paint losses to the left swan's beak.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the spill interior;
shrinkage line to the underside;
touch mark with associated chip to the side of the base.
