Large Staffordshire cottage pastille burner
Victorian, circa 1860. 11.8ins high, 5.5ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Staffordshire pastille burner which features a two storey cottage with single chimney, stood on a shaped base.
Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front.
Opening to the reverse, roof and walls.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. Small chip to shredded clay next to steps.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to side of front door.
RESTORATION: remodelled pieces to shredded clay above front door, walls and roof;
remodelled chimey, including the shredded clay;
retouched paint losses to ground and wall flowers.
