Victorian, circa 1860. 3.6ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Staffordshire pastille burner which features a round cottage with detachable lid, resting on a circular base. Lilac version. Dull gilt embellishment.

Condition
Base: Generally good. No restoration. Very tight hairline to rim.
Small chips to flowers
and to finial above front door.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the shredded clay.
Flecks of stray green paint.
Cover: Generally good. Rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage cracks around dormer windows.
RESTORATION: old restoration to chimney and surrounding shredded clay, which has been reglued.
