Pair Staffordshire No.2 russet & white spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 10.2ins high, 6.7ins wide, 4.1ins depth.

Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.



Russet and white version. Dull gilt embellishment.





Decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.



Maker's marks no.2 molded into the underside.

Condition

Right facing: Good. No restoration. Small chips to lower base edge.


A few paint losses to dog's markings.









Some rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to the dog's paws.
