Pair Staffordshire russet & white spaniels
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 9.3ins high, 6.3ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel,
seated directly on the ground, no base.
Russet and white version.
Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

CONDITION: Right facing: Good.
A few paint losses to the markings.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the front and reverse.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to front right paw.
Retouched paint losses to paws
and nose.
Left facing: Good.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the front and reverse;
flecks of stray coloured glaze to the front.
