Large Staffordshire turreted house

Victorian, circa 1860. 11.4ins high, 7.1ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Staffordshire house which features a house with two turrets, stood on a shaped base. Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.







Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Small chips to shredded clay.







Some rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front;





kiln soot caught in the glaze to the first roof;



small firing pit to reverse.
