Pair Staffordshire black & white spaniels

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 7.7ins high, 5.5ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel with both front legs modelled free, seated directly on the ground, no base.





White and gilt version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the underside.

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. Slight rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: staining to the reverse.



RESTORATION: Filled chips to tail.



Retouched paint losses to markings and muzzle.







Left facing: Good. Shallow chip to lower base edge.
