Staffordshire Pearlware 'Perswaition' group
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 7.9ins high, 7.1ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware bocage group which features a couple seated on a bench,
the gentleman holding a ring and a dog between them, seated on a shaped base.
The piece is titled, 'PERSWAITION' .
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good.
Small chips to sign.
Some flakes to bocage and leaves on plant.
No paint losses to ground.
RESTORATION: Lady's head remodelled.
Leaves to plant next to lady,
her left hand,
handle on umbrella
and ring in gentleman's hand remodelled.
A few minor filled chips to bocage, 99% original is still remaining.
Filled chip to his hat.
Retouched paint loss to her hat
and his right shoe.
Retouched flake to his nose.
