Large Staffordshire standing lion figure
Victorian, circa 1860. 9.8ins high, 9.1ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a lion, stood on a shaped base.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent holes to reverse and underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration.
Some flakes to brown ground.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the lions body and hind quarters;
painted decoration has misfired in places, leaving a marbled appearance.
