The sampler is worked in wool on canvas ground, in cross stitch throughout. Zig zag border. Colours red and light brown.

Alphabets A-Z in uppercase and numbers 1-10.

Signed with initials 'E B' and dated 1883.

Single diamond motif.

CONDITION: Very Good. No holes. A few stains to edges, corners and one to the centre.

No stitch losses. Colours are all good and strong with no noticeable fading. No colour run.
