Victorian, dated 1850. 8.25ins by 6.9ins.

1850 Paper Sampler by Susannah Laud. Framed in an old, possibly original, wood frame with rippled, dimpled, old glass.

Loose mounted over a card with wood backing.

The sampler is worked in silk on paper ground, in cross stitch throughout.

Meandering strawberry border.

Colours green, cream, black, gold and blue. Inscription reads

'With whom we have to do.

Hebrews 4 13
