Fixed to card with chipboard backing.
The sampler is worked in silk on linen ground, in a variety of stitches.
No border, divider lines in various patterns.
Colours red, cream, gold, pink, green and blues.
Alphabets A-Z in upper case and lower case and numbers 1-14.

A scattering of motifs, including a crowns
and a diamond shape.
CONDITION: Good.
One small hole.
Some pale patchy staining.
Minor stitch losses to the divider lines
and the verse.
Colours are all good and strong with no noticeable fading.
The silks bright and glossy.
No colour run.
Stretching is slightly uneven.
Frame showing some wear, but is structurally sound and in our opinion could be hung 'as is'.
