Minton Majolica fish and shell oyster plate

Victorian, circa 1880. 10.2ins high, 10.2ins wide, 0.6ins depth. Minton Majolica oyster plate which features fish, shells and seaweed.

Colouration: grey, cobalt blue, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2365'.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the rim;

small firing pit to one well.
