Minton Majolica fish and shell oyster plate
Victorian, circa 1880. 10.4ins high, 10.4ins wide, 0.6ins depth. Minton Majolica oyster plate which features fish, shells and seaweed.
Colouration: grey, cobalt blue, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2365'.
Condition
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Tight hairline to underside of rim only, not visible on front of plate.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to two wells and one fish;
small firing pit to one well.
