Massier Majolica Kingfisher & lily vase

Victorian, circa 1900. 5.3ins high, 4.3ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica posy holder which features a kingfisher perched next to a lily.





Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.





The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Small flake to right claw, wing feathers and ground.







KILN EFFECTS: piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to ground.



RESTORATION. Reglued chip to inside of rim.
