Victorian, circa 1870. Tallest is 9.3ins high, 6.1ins wide, 4.9ins depth. Set of three English Majolica jug/pitchers which feature corn on the cob.
Colouration: ochre, green, pink, are predominant.
English diamond registration mark for the date ??/??/????.
Condition
CONDITION: Large: Generally good. No restoration.
Some small flakes to the rim and handle.
Small bruise and flake to base.
Slight wear to the exterior.
KILN EFFECT: glaze accumulation to the underside;
glaze run to the green glaze.
Stabilised and retouched crack to rim, down past the handle.
Filled chip to base.
Medium: Good. No restoration.
Flaking to rim.
Slight wear to handle
and exterior.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze.
Small: Good.
Small chip to underside.
Slight wear to the exterior.
KILN EFFECT: glaze miss to base;
small firing pit to exterior.
RESTORATION: filled chip to handle.
