Minton Majolica lily pad pitcher

Victorian, circa 1866. 9.1ins high, 5.9ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features lily pads.

Colouration: purple, green, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1866.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage lines to under the spout;

craze line to the rim.

RESTORATION. Handle reglued and join retouched at top and bottom of handle.
