Large Minton Majolica bamboo plate

Victorian, circa 1872. 13.2ins high, 13.2ins wide, 1.4ins depth. Minton Majolica plate which features bamboo. Colouration: turquoise, green, ochre, are predominant.





The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1296'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1872.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Scratches and slight staining from use.





KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the interior.
