Minton Majolica trefoil lily pad centerpiece

Victorian, circa 1867. 5.5ins high, 11.8ins wide, 11.8ins depth. Minton Majolica centrepiece which features
three large lily pads surrounding an open lily flower.



Colouration: green, white, ochre, are predominant.











The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1147'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1867.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: two shrinkage cracks to the rim of one pad;







kiln detritus caught in the glaze to two pads;





glaze pops to the underside.
