Small Majolica Cauliflower teapot

Victorian, circa 1880. 5.1ins high, 6.1ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Majolica teapot which features cauliflower leaves
on a cauliflower textured ground.

Colouration: green, cream, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Teapot: Generally good.

RESTORATION: Spout and lower join of handle reglued and join retouched.

Cover: Good. No restoration.

Small flake to finial.

Slight wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the inner rim;

craze lines to the cover and finial.
