Circa 1890. 1.6ins high, 2.8ins wide, 1.3ins depth. Elias Portuguese Palissy Majolica toothpick holder which features a pig eating from a trough.

Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Elias pottery.

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Very slight wear to ears.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to green and brown glazes.
