Majolica Palissy mouse with grain toothpick holder

Circa 1900. 2.4ins high, 4ins wide, 3.8ins depth. Palissy Majolica toothpick holder which features a mouse resting on a sack eating a piece of grain.

Colouration: grey, green, brown, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration. Chip to end of sack.

Small flake to one ear.

Very slight wear to the upper base edge.
