Circa 1890. 4.1ins high, 4.1ins wide, 2ins depth. Angelico Portuguese Palissy Majolica toothpick holder which features a ram.

Colouration: white, green, pale blue, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Angelico pottery.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Very slight wear to ears.

KILN EFFECTS: small glaze miss to rear of tail;

a few tiny glaze pops to the ram;

notable crazing;

touch marks to the base.
