Wedgwood Majolica dolphin and shell oyster plate

Wedgwood Argenta Majolica oyster plate which features five dolphins resting between five shells.



Colouration: cream, grey, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2754'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1880.

Condition

Very good. No restoration.

Some wear to dolphins heads.







KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze;





stained craze line to one shell.
