Circa 1890. 3.1ins high, 3.3ins wide, 2.1ins depth. Elias Portuguese Palissy Majolica toothpick holder which features a lion holding a basket in its mouth.







Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.





The piece bears maker's marks for the Elias pottery.
