Set of 3 Brown Westhead Moore Majolica fox & grape pitchers
Victorian, circa 1876. Tallest is 8.7ins high, 5.5ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Set of three Brown Westhead Moore & Co Majolica jug/pitchers which feature a fox on either side at the bottom, with a grapevine border to the top.
Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, ochre, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '341'. English diamond registration mark for the date 14/03/1876.
Condition
CONDITION: Large: Good.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the exterior.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim.
Medium: Generally good.

Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.
Small: Generally good.
KILN EFFECTS: Glaze run to the green and black glazes.
RESTORATION: Stabilized and retouched crack to base running up the side.
