Menton Majolica lemon wall plate

Victorian, circa 1880. 7.9ins high, 7.9ins wide, 1.8ins depth. Menton Majolica wall plate which features lemons, leaves and flowers.

Colouration: turquoise, yellow, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Menton pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Some small flakes to the fruit and leaves.

KILN EFFECTS: small firing pit to the underside;

flecks of stray coloured glaze.

RESTORATION: Six petals remodelled.

Filled chip to one petal.

Retouched flakes to leaves.
