Majolica butter dish which features sprigs of ivy on a brick effect ground.
Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.

Dish: Good. No restoration.
Slight wear to the exterior.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze;
kiln soot caught in the glaze to the interior.
Cover: Very good. No restoration.
Stand: Good. No restoration.
Flake to the rim.
Some wear to the centre.
KILN EFFECTS: overglazed manufacture chip to the under rim.
